Author Biography: LUGAR DE NACIMIENTO: La provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
INICIO DE SU EXPERIENCIA ESPIRITUAL: Entregó su vida a Jesucristo a los 12 años. A los 18 comenzó a predicar los fines de semana mientras durante la semana trabajaba en un banco. En 1957 él y otros amigos organizaron un programa de evangelismo en carpas y ministerio radial.
FAMILIA: Se casó con Patricia Scofield en 1961. Los Palau tienen cuatro hijos, los mellizos Kevin y Keith (1963), Andrés (1966) y Esteban (1969), y además 7 nietos.
EDUCACION: Estudió en la escuela San Albano en Buenos Aires, institución parte del programa extranjero de la Universidad de Cambridge. Completó el programa de posgrado en el seminario Multnomah School of the Bible en Oregón, EE.UU.
MINISTERIO CRISTIANO: Se unió a SEPAL (actualmente OC International) en 1961 para ministrar a hispanohablantes. En diciembre de 1966 celebró su primera campaña evangelística en Bogotá, Colombia. Un año más tarde fue nombrado directorde SEPAL para América Latina, y comenzó a formar un equipo internacional de evangelización. En octubre de 1978 el Equipo de Palau deja SEPAL para formar una nueva organización con sede en Portland, Oregón. La Asociación de Palau es internacional en su composición, con integrantes de Argentina, Canadá, Estados Unidos de América, Guatemala y el Reino Unido.
DISTINCIONES: Doctorados honorario en divinidad de las siguientes instituciones: Seminario Teológico Talbot en La Mirada, California; Wheaton College, Illinois; y George Fox College en Oregón. Doctorado honorario en teología de la Universidad Mariano Gálvez en la ciudad de Guatemala.
Palau ha tenido el privilegio de hablar a numerosos jefes de estado y altos funcionarios en muchos países.
